Electrical Designer (drafting software exp. req.) Description

Our client, in power generation manufacturing, is looking for an Electrical Designer to add to their team in Sangamon County, IL. You will be responsible for designing and developing products that meet customer-specific requirements as it relates to the electrical controls, and how those controls impact on the hardware within the product. Technical knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits, motors, fuses, etc. will be essential to be considered for this role. This is an ideal role for individuals in various stages of their careers; a great opportunity for those with very little experience who are ready to learn and grow quickly with training, or for those with years of experience interested in mentoring others and exploring other areas within the electrical engineering department. Electrical Designer (drafting software exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Design and develop products to meet customer requirements
•    Analyze sales orders and specifications for equipment design
•    Use proprietary software for design inputs
•    Ensure timely completion of design work
•    Collaborate with senior engineering and management

Electrical Designer (drafting software exp. req.) Qualifications

•    Electrical design experience required
•    Knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits (education and/or experience) required
•    Experience with drafting software (ex. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) required
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office required
