Branch Manager Description

Our client, a leading equipment rental company, is looking for a Branch Manager to add to their team in Binghamton, NY. This is a great opportunity with high visibility and high impact at an established firm. As a Manager, you will have the P&L responsibilities for your Branch. You will also lead, coach and manage the Sales, Rental and Service Teams. To thrive in this role, you must have equipment knowledge, a passion for customer service and a demonstrated background of coaching and developing staff.

Branch Manager Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and work closely with sales team to drive revenue and control expenses
• Monitor the financial performance of the branch and take corrective action to stay on budget
• Meet with department heads to provide direction and set expectations
• Act as the Quality Control expert to ensure that customer needs are being met
• On a quarterly basis, conduct an all-branch meeting to provide current financial and operational updates, as well as to communicate new goals and expectations
• Manage and mentor staff through hiring, performance reviews, and career development
• Manage branch fleet acquisitions, maintenance, disposals, and relocations
• Create and implement improvements to rental processes and systems that will support branch growth

Branch Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Construction equipment knowledge required
• 5+ years of proven sales success required
• Business management experience with profit and loss responsibility required
• Supervisory/ management experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
