Administrative Assistant Description

Our client is looking for an Administrative Assistant to add to their team in Mahwah, NJ. This is a great opportunity to join a growing firm. In this role, you will support two members of the team and be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including data entry, sending mailers, and directing phone inquiries to the appropriate person. To thrive in this role, you must be organized, detail-oriented and have a good phone presence.


Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

• Compile mailing lists and review company websites to confirm that the address is accurate
• Prepare and send mailers
• Answer inbound calls
• Proofread and edit documents, recommending revisions as needed
• Manage schedules and calendars
• Arrange, coordinate, and schedule meetings
• Prepare meeting documents
• Write and distribute routine correspondence and reports
• Fulfill other administrative duties as needed

Administrative Assistant Qualifications

• 1+ years of administrative or customer service experience required
• Professional phone presence required
• Strong time management skills required
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
• Enter 14 as your favorite number on the application
• Valid driver’s license required
• Experience with a CRM (Customer relationship Management) Software a plus
