Business Development Executive Description

Our client, a professional services firm, is looking for a Remote Business Development Executive to add to their team. This is a great opportunity with high visibility, high impact and room for growth. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will build customer relationships, provide customer solutions and be responsible for selling proposal consulting services to corporations, non-profits and government contractors. To be successful in this role, you must have experience selling professional services and be comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

Business Development Executive Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with prospects and customers
• Serve the account through needs assessment and proposal development
• Drive revenue by educating customers and demonstrating the value of the services
• Cultivate relationships with internal Subject Matter Experts to gain their knowledge and input
• Manage daily activity and forecasting
• Meet revenue targets and measurable non-revenue objectives

Business Development Executive Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience selling professional services required
• Consultative sales skills required
• Strong presentation skills required
• Experience with government contracting a plus
