Business Development Representative Description

Our client in the computer software industry is looking for a Business Development Representative to add to their team in Boston, MA. You will be responsible for prospecting potential sales opportunities while also collaborating with the team to identify potential markets for growth. Our client is looking for someone with at least a year of business development/sales experience who has an entrepreneurial spirit. To be successful in this role, you must enjoy a fast-paced work environment, be excited to learn and have strong communication skills. Business Development Representative Responsibilities

• Manage daily inbound and outbound leads
• Research prospects to best understand their need for the product
• Pitch product to potential to c-suite level executives
• Help prospect and close deals
• Educate and nurture prospects for potential future opportunities
Understand and present data analytics
• Report on your weekly activities
• Work closely with team to recommend and improve processes
• Work with the team to research and pitch potential new markets

Business Development Representative Qualifications

• 1+ years of business development/sales experience required
• Cold calling experience strongly preferred
• CRM experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Fast paced and remote work experience preferred
• Computer software industry experience a plus
