Account Manager Description

Our client in the information technology and services industry is looking for an Account Manager to add to their team in the Boston, MA area. Reporting to the VP, you will be responsible managing the relationships of existing clients and driving revenue. Our client is looking for someone with at least two years of account management experience with a track record of meeting quotas. To be successful in this role, you must be detail oriented and organized. This is a great opportunity to join a small, stable and growing company with an outstanding compensation plan.

Account Manager Responsibilities

• Develop business relationships within existing accounts
• Generate revenue by driving identifying and cross-sell opportunities
• Build and manage pipeline to consistently meet monthly sales quotas
• Develop relationships with a wide range of buyers from C-level, to VP, Director and Manager
• Research and maintain industry/vertical and competitive knowledge
• Attend events and conferences

Account Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2+ years of account management experience required
• Track record of meeting quotas
• Top executive relationship management experience required
• Microsoft Office Suite and CRM experience required
• IT or SaaS sales experience preferred
