Business Development Executive Description

Our client, a language service provider, is looking for a Business Development Executive to add to their team in New York, NY. This is a great opportunity with high visibility and high impact. You will nurture prospects, build relationships and expand the customer base. Your efforts will impact the overall business and the bottom line. To be successful in this role, you must have a customer-focused, consultative approach and language services industry experience.

Business Development Executive Responsibilities

• Promote and educate prospects and clients about the company’s capabilities, benefits and competitive offerings
• Develop strategies for establishing new partnerships and business relationships to market products and services
• Proactively prospect and qualify potential new translation and localization opportunities
• Identify project requirements and scope, and estimate costs and time requirements for successful project completion
• Create customized project proposals and estimates
• Negotiate and close deals, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction
• Provide clear and complete instructions to all internal resources regarding project requirements
• Manage opportunity development with a pipeline of key active clients
• Provide excellent service to clients through attentive follow-up to requests, inquiries, and concerns
• Research and keep abreast of industry news and prospective clients through industry publications, business periodicals, etc.
• Meet revenue targets and measurable non-revenue objectives

Business Development Executive Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of business development experience required
• 3+ years of language services industry experience required
• Consultative sales skills required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Contract Management System and Microsoft Office Suite experience strongly preferred
