3D Software Programmer (Relocation to LA req.) Description

Our client is looking for a 3D Software Programmer to add to their award-winning design team. You will be responsible for creating new 3D sculpting tools that will impact and amplify the work of other artists for years to come. To be successful in this role, you must be a bold, innovative, and design-minded programmer with revolutionary ideas. Ingenuity, passion, communication, and timeliness are key traits to thrive in this position. Candidates considered for this position must complete an initial programming project to showcase abilities (you will be compensated.) This position is temporarily remote, but eventual relocation to Los Angeles will be required where a hybrid in-studio/remote schedule will be adopted. 3D Software Programmer (Relocation to LA req.) Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical artists and other programmers to create new 3D technology
• Develop ideas from concept to execution
• Propose and develop innovative new design tools
• Maintain and design plug-ins
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing technology

3D Software Programmer (Relocation to LA req.) Qualifications

• 3+ years C++ experience required
• 3D graphic applications experience required
• ZBrush experience required
• Strong OpenGL experience required
• GPU and PBR rendering experience required
• Window and MacOS experience required
• Exceptional communication skills a must
• Strong understanding of design sensibilities a must
• Ability to show proof of concept on GitHub strongly preferred
