Associate T-Cell Scientist, Process Development Description

Our client is looking for an Associate T-Cell Scientist to add to their team in Cambridge, MA. You will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments to optimize the CAR T manufacturing platform, support good manufacturing practices of virus and cell therapy products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen and develop processes. Associate T-Cell Scientist, Process Development Responsibilities

• Perform primary T-Cell culturing experiments
• Research and develop processes to optimize T-Cell manufacturing processes and technologies
• Carry out in-process and product characterization assays, including flow cytometry
• Support media, virus, and assay development studies
• Collect and interpret data while maintaining a detailed, accurate laboratory notebook
• Author technical and development reports and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate in-person and virtually with cross-functional teams
• Present results internally and at scientific conferences
• Perform literature searches and reviews as necessary

Associate T-Cell Scientist, Process Development Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field required
• 2+ years of tissue culture of primary cells experience required
• 1+ years of CAR T-cell manufacturing experience preferred
• 1+ years of closed-system process experience a plus
• Proficiency with DOE software a must
• GraphPad Prism or other scientific 2D graphing software experience a must
• Must be Microsoft Office savvy
• Willing to travel internationally (less than 10%)
• Must be able to occasionally lift 15 pound
