Account Director Description

Our client, an independent creative agency, is looking for an Account Director to add to their team. This is a great opportunity with high visibility and high impact. As the first point of contact for potential clients, you’ll lead the presentation and proposal development process, cultivate new business opportunities and build meaningful relationships. You will be the trusted advisor, providing senior oversight and presence at client interactions and creating a clear roadmap across projects to extend engagements and relationships. To thrive in this role, you must be curious, creative and always thinking two steps ahead.

Account Director Responsibilities

• Manage client engagements
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior members of the client team and identify opportunities to grow business throughout clients’ organizations
• Create and deliver compelling and personalized presentations that address the business issues and opportunities faced by prospective clients
• Develop client proposals and RFP responses
• Extend client relationships and explore new ways to deliver value
• Work closely with agency teams to define client objectives, requirements and budgets
• Solve complex brand problems
• Have decision autonomy over most assignments
• Extend client business by constantly findings ways to add value
• Drive improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness into all methodologies and deliverables
• Apply industry trends to current issues
• Combine creative ideas and recommendations across work streams
• Oversee quality of concepts across multiple project teams

Account Director Qualifications

• 7+ years of agency experience required
• 5+ years of client management experience required
• 5+ years of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines required
• Strong background of working with Financial Services and Technology brands required
• Ability to develop tailored and responsive proposals and presentations required
• Ability to think critically, creatively and big-picture required
• Ability to be diplomatic with project teams and client organizations required
