Director of Sales Description

Our SaaS client is looking for a Director of Sales to add to their team in San Francisco, CA. Given what’s currently going on, you’ll start this role remotely. Once things are back to normal, you’ll be working out of the office in San Francisco, CA daily. Working closely with the COO, you will manage the process and strategy of a high-volume inbound sales operation helping drive revenue growth. You will help your team process, qualify and contact around 3,000 inbound leads per week. Director of Sales Responsibilities

• Organize sales process to best respond to growing business
• Align sales operations with lead generation, customer success and support functions
• Meet revenue growth targets
• Minimize churn
• Adjust sales processes to rapidly changing environment
• Manage the sales team on a daily basis
• Ensure sales team is hitting weekly, monthly, yearly goals/quota
• Assist with sales activities when necessary (bigger deals, people out sick, etc.)
• Implement processes to improve efficiency of slammed sales team
• Resolve marketing/sales issues
• Resolve customer success issues
• Understand how product integrates into client’s technology stack
• Build a winning sales team and organization
• Hire and inspire sales team members
• Reallocate territories when team members are added
• Develop metrics and performance expectations
• Assist with executing the marketing strategy
• Attend 1-2 trade shows per year
• Travel to the UK on a quarterly basis

Director of Sales Qualifications

• 7+ years sales experience required
• 2+ years management experience required
• SaaS experience required
• High-volume inbound sales experience required (25+ deals per month per AE)
