Electrical Systems Engineer Description

Our client is looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer to add to their team in Hawthorne, CA. Using your understanding of electronics, hardware, firmware, circuitry, protocols and software, you’ll help with the management and implementation of custom development projects. To be successful in this role, you must be organized and have strong communication skills that allow you to work with colleagues across the world (UK, Korea, Vietnam) at varying levels of technical understanding. You will be joining a high caliber team and will have the opportunity to work on a large number of amazing projects for medical devices, large companies and government R&D. Electrical Systems Engineer Responsibilities

• Manage and organize projects
• Confirm system and component capabilities by inspecting and designing testing methods
• Ensure procedures and instructions are clearly documented via short videos
• Identify issues and provide engineering support to troubleshoot systems in development
• Assist with all aspects of projects – electronics, firmware, software, mechanical, materials, PCBs
• Assist technicians with more complicated projects
• Execute verification test plans, test procedures, and test reports against project requirements

Electrical Systems Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
• 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience required
• Desire to support a project from conception to completion required
• Experience with hardware, electronic circuits, and firmware programming required
• Low-level communication (SPI, I2C, BLE) protocol experience preferred
• Circuit Board design program experience a plus
