Architect Description

Our client is looking for an Architect to add to their team in Chico, CA. You will be joining a firm that’s passionate about both their clients and their community. This is a great opportunity to join a small, innovative and collaborative firm that has been growing during COVID. No employees have been laid off or furloughed as a result of the pandemic. Architect Responsibilities

• Work closely with the department to develop design ideas
• Provide production work for a variety of projects
• Manage projects from start to finish
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and consultants
• Cooperate and liaise with construction and engineering professionals
• Identify clients’ needs; develop plans in line with clients’ needs
• Compile project details and specifications
• Generate diagrams and digital models
• Compile presentation materials
• Produce calculations, plans, models,
• Ensure high quality, innovative and functional designs
• Ensure work is carried out according to standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
• Visit work sites to check on project status

Architect Qualification

• Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture required
• 6+ years of experience in an architectural firm required
• Licensed Architect preferred; if not licensed, desire to become licensed required
• Multi-family housing, commercial, K-12, hospital, and/or medical office building project experience required
• Revit experience required
• AutoCAD experience required
• Building Code knowledge required
• Title 24 compliance knowledge required
• ADA regulation knowledge required
• Driver’s License required
