Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Business Development Associate Description

Our client is looking for a Business Development Associate to add to their team in Houston, TX. If you are experienced with a high volume of sales outreach (40+ calls per day) in order to drive successful new business development efforts, then you could be a great addition to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a larger company working to build a new line of business with a team of about 6 individuals. If you’re able to understand complex IT solutions/services, have sold them before, and can effectively interact with C-level contacts, what are you waiting for?

Business Development Associate Responsibilities

• Hunt for new business
• Follow a consultative selling approach
• Build relationships with senior leaders and influencers
• Identify opportunities with prospects and customers
• Propose tailored solutions for prospects and customers
• Develop and present compelling business cases to prospects
• Evaluate and document technical needs
• Manage all aspects of sales from start to finish
• Assess results
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Help create sales enablement materials
• Deliver sales enablement training
• Anticipate barriers to sale or implementation
• Participate in “round robin” cold calling with the team in order to receive and provide feedback
• Participate in after-hours training twice per week
• Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas

Business Development Associate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3+ years of sales experience required
• Experience completing 40+ cold calls per day required
• Experience prospecting for new business required
• Experience selling to C-level contacts required
• IT solutions/services experience required
• Strong closing skills required
