Account Manager Description

Our client in the Managed Technology Services industry is looking for an Account Manager to add to their team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that has been around for over 20 years. You will engage with existing clients to manage relationships and ensure that they have the technology to best serve their business. To thrive in this role, you must be business-oriented and customer service driven.

Account Manager Responsibilities

• Maintain, manage and support customer accounts
• Conduct monthly meetings and engage clients to develop a deep understanding of their needs
• Collaborate with sales engineers to translate client needs into proposals/ solutions
• Effectively plan and budget client spend to maximize client productivity
• Collaborate with the technical team to facilitate upgrades to avoid or resolve issues
• Keep clients in compliance with software licensing agreements
• Ensure that clients understand and adopt security best practices
• Educate clients about new technology options
• Support new client acquisition efforts
• Prepare and deliver proposals to clients and prospects
• Investigate and promptly respond to client complaints
• Attend educational events to keep up with industry trends

Account Manager Qualifications

• Associate degree required
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Consultative sales experience a plus
• Basic knowledge of IT Solutions/ Services a plus
