Business Development Executive Description

Our client in the test prep industry is looking for a Business Development Executive to add to their team in Atlanta, GA. This is a great opportunity with high impact and room for growth. Reporting to the National Director of Business Development, you will engage prospects, generate leads and drive enrollment to meet monthly revenue targets. To thrive in this role, you must have sales experience, exceptional communications skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Business Development Executive Responsibilities

• Create and implement a sales strategy for the territory
• Build and nurture relationships with local schools, organizations, businesses and educational consultants
• Set up mock tests and presentations to promote the brand and increase enrollment in test prep and tutoring help
• Ensure that partner schools and organizations have the proper marketing support for events, classes, and mocks tests
• Identify trade shows, college fairs, and other community events to attend to generate new leads
• Write proposals and make presentations to local school districts and school personnel
• Remain abreast of industry trends, competitive products, and opportunities for expansion
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support national campaigns and local initiatives
• Log sales activity and maintain the CRM
• Meet monthly revenue targets and measurable non-revenue objectives

Business Development Executive Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years sales experience required
• Strong presentation skills required
• Ability and willingness to travel in the Atlanta Metro Area required
• Previous experience in the education or test prep industry preferred
